Easter Sunday

We spent Easter in Chicago this year as a family of three. It was a beautiful day here in Chicago (finally) so we enjoyed every second of it! Since Grayson is still so little we did not do much, other than go to church and brunch. No Easter egg hunts for this kid, but next year I am sure he is going to be thrilled to participate:)

Easter Morning - Loving his basket!

Playing with his new car keys

His new Easter driving loafers
The cookies we made - Grayson actually (well with the help of me, obviously) threw some sprinkles on the cookies

On our way to church

Matt and I decided we would die some eggs and decorate Easter cookies for fun and to have a little bit of Easter tradition. Grayson and Matt both enjoyed their baskets too! Easter was a great time and we have so many things to be thankful for, but most of all that our heavenly father gave his one and only son to us and had him die on the cross so that we could have eternal life. Having a child, it is truly hard for me to comprehend how God did this, I would have been the biggest basket case.... BUT, it put into perspective just how much he loves us and wants all of us to know him so that we can accept him into to our hearts and have eternal life! Happy Easter!

Brunch at RPM Italian - loving his meatballs!
