Baby Dedication

Two weekends ago, we celebrated Grayson's Baby Dedication. It was such a special moment for him and our family as we dedicated our sweet angel to the Lord and made an outwardly commitment to raise him in a Christian home. Some of Grayson's grandparents came in town and one of his aunts. He is so lucky to have so many people who love him so much!

During the ceremony we had to read a verse and tell the congregation why we chose our verse. We chose Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We love this verse so much - we have actually had this verse framed above Grayson's bed before he was born. We want to teach him to love and trust the Lord. However, we also want him to know that his walk with Christ may not always be easy, but by always trusting in him and praying earnestly he will see that God's plans are so much greater than he could have ever imagined.
